Special Nurturing Notice
Puppies less than 2 lbs require the special care and attention the first 2 weeks in their new home. They need to eat every 2-3 hours, starting with their arrival.
Named after the region of Pomerania in Germany, also commonly known as the Pom or Pom Pom was first recognized as a descendent of the Wolfspitz breed. They originally were larger and were used as sheep herders. It became a popular breed in England in the 1800 year, when Queen Victoria adopted one. Its size has reduced and the fur grew more, it became a small puppy with a smiling foxy look, a real toy dog. This puppy was first recognized by the AKC in 1888 and it was perceived as a watchdog, with agility and performing tricks. It has since become one of the most sought after breeds here in the United States.
Appearance and Grooming
They are small, toy-sized dog with wedge-shaped head, almond-shaped dark eyes and tiny and raised ears, sharp pot and long tail carried on the back. The short muzzle is straight and fine. The color of the nose varies with coat color. The coat is longer around the neck and chest area. It can have a variety of coat colors and patterns including red, orange, white, cream, blue, brown, black, black and tan, wolf sable, brindle and white with different colors. With a cottony undercoat regular daily brushing is important to minimize the amount of shedding and tangles.
This is a very intelligent dog that has an eagerness to learn and shows strong loyalty to its owner and family. It has a docile and affectionate temperament and yet will be playful and energetic when enticed. It shows off its bravery often with strangers, as it will bark at them excessively.
Family and Companionship
They are highly extroverted dogs and love being in the midst of new people and try to make friends with everyone they meet. They do extremely well with children and other pets as they are highly sociable animals. They are also very protective of their owners and they respond very well to training and mental exercises. Due to their size, they prefer being inside than outside. They are well-suited for a large home or apartment life and crave human companionship more than anything else.
Routine exercise is necessary for the health and wellness of these high energy level pooches. Daily walks and frequent play will keep you puppy occupied and fit. Don’t be afraid of long walks with this one as their strong levels of endurance can carry them up to 5 miles and sometimes even more.
Training and Socialization
Known to become aggressive if not properly trained, these dogs need a firm yet gentle trainer. Though quick learners who are good at learning tricks, primary focus should be on obedience and barking as these tiny pups tend to see themselves as the boss and become incessant barkers. Socialization is equally as important as their extroverted and inquisitive nature must be met in effort to keep your pup happy and well mannered.

We purchased “Wiki” who we named Honey Bear in August of 2017. Honey Bear has brought such happiness to our home! She has been to all her vet checks and is a very playful loving pup with zero health issues. Buying from Premier was so easy and we love our new baby. We are so happy with Premier we plan to buy our next addition from them later this year.
Thank you very much everyone at Premier pups for bringing this little baby to us thank you very much.
We live in Dallas. We are very happy with our experience with Premier Pups in Johnstown, OH. They have been very attentive. They accompanied us all the time and continue to check in weeks after picking up our puppy. Our Pomeranian is a love. She is happy, beautiful, clean, healthy, well behaved. Thank you very much.
I had looked at a few puppy places - even flying down to Florida to check out a couple of stores. I was skeptical about doing this and buying a puppy this way, as this is my first time owning a puppy, but this was a beautiful process. We now have a 10 week old puppy Pomeranian names Kumo, and he is very friendly and playful. He doesn't bark and goes in his playpen with ease. He is potty training and getting it very quickly, which I'm happy about! And he loves to go wherever we go! If you are looking for a puppy, this is the place to get one.
Between my wife and her boss, we purchased a total of four doggies. Ours is the teacup Pomeranian in the picture, that we've renamed "Buddy." He is doing just great! Lots of energy! Our 13 year old Shorkie and 12 year old Chihuahua don't know what to make of him yet (day 2) but they are starting to get used to him. He came with detailed instructions for feeding and medicine, and we are following them to the letter. We enjoyed the video you sent before delivery day, also! In summation, after getting defrauded to the tune of $18,000 by another puppy website, we couldn't be happier with the service from Premier Pups. Literally, on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being a virtually perfect customer experience, you guys get a big TEN! Thanks for everything... p.s. Any potential customers who want to contact us about our experience, please feel free!
I recently pocked up my puppy from Premier Pups and I give all props to premier pups!I have been scammed two times before from fake pom sellers and i was not really expecting any puppy but another disappointment but even while having my adorable little pom in my hands its still unbelievable .The shipping is awesome and the service is optimal .the same day of purchase i received a call still not convinced .However the premier pup customer service reps kept me updated almost daily on everything i would need.Very real and reliable.Thank you premier pups
Apple is super cute and she loves playing with stuff animals. Thanks Premier Pups for giving me detail instructions and returned my call asap when I have questions
I purchased Sarang in April 2016, I was very cautious about getting a dog online to my surprise everything went great! My 9yr old Pomeranian passed away in Feb and I was devastated, he was my world. My Father suprised me with Sarang and I love him very much, though i still have a part of my heart for Shiloh. Now he's about 5 months old living teasing my Lab whenever he gets the chance.
We are excited and delighted to have Miss Harley in our home. The whole process with Premier Pups was outstanding. We picked her up at the airport and we had her even before the baggage from her flight had been announced. She has adapted well, eating the hard dog right away and taking her meds without issue. We had search quite a bit online before selecting Premier Pups for our Pomeranian and so glad we did.
We came and picked up "China" - a teacup Pomeranian just over three years ago. She was just a little puffball at the time, and coming into a home with a trained 110 pound lab/shepherd. We wanted a small dog, to be part of our family. She was well socialized and taken care of before we picked her up, as she was a happy puppy! She accepted us quickly, and has always been healthy. China is super intelligent too, and feels she is the same size as our large dog, and acts like he does- ( a guard dog). I feel that they treat their dogs well, and would get another from them in the future. :)
