Common Conditions

Frequent urination

October 29, 2020, 10:27 AM
Q: I noticed my 6 months old puppy peeing more often with small amounts of yellow urine. Are there any natural, home remedies I can give him? I read about apple cider vinegar or cranberry juice to be added to their normal water. Is that safe?
A: There are several reasons for increased frequency of urination. Acidifying the urine with juice is not harmful and in the case of minor infection in the lower urinary tract it can be enough. You should let your vet know about the symptoms.
