- A: Most of the time that an owner mentions "upset tummy" they are referring to vomiting. Sporadic vomiting not accompanied by any other symptoms can often be handled at home using GI protectants or antacids. I would need to know how long this has been a problem, if there are any other symptoms and his approximate weight.
