Common Conditions

Vomiting

Q: My 9 week old Pomeranian puppy vomited in the grass today, and it’s his first day in our home. We fed him baby food + Karo as soon as he arrived. Then we gave him dry food and some water. Right before the vomiting, he was playing and eating some dry dog food mixed with 1/4 a Cesar loaf cut into pieces. When we took him outside, he ran around and then vomited a “poop” shaped colorless blob with pieces of food in it. Is this a cause for concern??
A: Sporadic vomiting in a puppy is common, as long as he feels good and eats well you can just keep on eye on it.  If he vomits more than twice or if his attitude or appetite are off let me know.
