Feeding new puppy

Q: I posted this question last night but I have no idea where to look to receive a response. It is not in my email?? I understand that my new pup needs to eat every two hours but what do I start with? Dry food, Cesar food, Baby food, When do I add Karo syrup? Please advise. Thanks!
