May 28, 2020, 12:24 AM- Q: Hello, what’s the best homemade dog food? I am incorporating a diet of homemade and organic kibble food. A 50/50 mix. Would you recommend Salmon oil and seafood calcium powder as good supplements to add to their food? Thank you!
- A: I am not a fan of homemade foods especially for young dogs. There are some decent recommendations from PetMD and the AKC. Your questions go to the problems associated with home made foods, trying to get quality, wholesome ingredients and balancing the vitamin/mineral content.
