Q: At what age can I get my morkie neutered?

A: Although neutering can be performed at any age I feel it is best to plan the surgery just prior to puberty, for a morkie that would be between 5 and 6 months of age. This allows all preventive care including vaccinations and parasite control to be in place before hand and also recognizes the benefits in bone development, muscle and fat distribution that come with puberty.
