Control over elimination

Q: We have a 9 week old puppy and he's only sleeping about 2-3 hours during the night time hours. We put him down at 9pm then he normally wakes up at 11:30...then again at 2:30...then again at 6am. Is there anything we can do to try and extend these times? Or is this just a matter of time when he is able to sleep longer through the night? thanks

A: You can slowly increase the intervals between visits as his control improves over the next few weeks.
