Q: My puppy is ten weeks old, I've had him for four days. He seems to trying to hold his pee and poo so he can go outside his crate. Now our playtimes go like this. Play one minute, puppy runs around corner and starts to pee. Puppy gets put back into crate. Repeat. Any help is appreciated.
A: Couple points for starters. Is your goal indoor or outdoor training? If indoor he stays in the cage until he eliminates, if outdoors you pick him up from the cage and carry him directly outdoors. The cage should not be part of the correction. You need a separate "penalty box" that is only used when a reprimand is required. Please watch the "Potty Training" series of videos and let me know of any other questions.
