First Steps in training

Q: I'm a little confused on the video it says the longer I am away from my puppy the longer the process is but, I also have to keep her In her crate though in a room where she can't see me? I'm just a little confused on training. Please get back to me and let me know what I'm supposed to be doing I have a teacup Pomeranian that is 11 weeks old and she's stubborn I take her out to play and she messes in the house. PLEASE HELP
A: During the first two weeks or so of her training she should stay in the palace whenever you are not playing with her. She should also be left in until after she eliminates (both pee and poop) if indoor potty training is your goal. As her training progresses if you have to spend a lot of time away from her it takes longer to reach your goal because you are not there to employ positive reinforcement or impose corrective measures.
