This breed's laid-back nature does not mean they're devoid of fun and play. On the contrary, French Bulldogs can be quite playful and are known for their often comical and entertaining antics, which only further endears them to their owners. Their affectionate demeanor, combined with a remarkably low barking tendency, makes them a joy to have around the house.
French Bulldogs are sturdy, compact, and stocky, with a powerful muscular build that contradicts their small size. However, owning a French Bulldog does come with responsibilities. Their brachycephalic (short-nosed) nature makes them prone to certain health issues and less tolerant of extreme temperatures. Despite their muscular appearance, they are not the best swimmers, and care should be taken around bodies of water.
