Our boy, Frankie, is perfect! He has the best temperament and is amazing with our young children! He is also very friendly with strangers! He is such a sweet boy and is very smart! This breed's laid-back nature does not mean they're devoid of fun and play. On the contrary, French Bulldogs can be quite playful and are known for their often comical and entertaining antics, which only further endears them to their owners. Their affectionate demeanor, combined with a remarkably low barking tendency, makes them a joy to have around the house.
French Bulldogs are sturdy, compact, and stocky, with a powerful muscular build that contradicts their small size. They have a smooth coat that comes in a variety of colors, from fawn and brindle to white and grey. Their facial expressions are human-like, and they're known to "talk" using a complex system of yawns, yips, and gargles.
However, owning a French Bulldog does come with responsibilities. Their brachycephalic (short-nosed) nature makes them prone to certain health issues and less tolerant of extreme temperatures.
