My husband has been crazy for a frenchy for as long as I can remember. We have been looking until I came across you guys! I was so scared about everything with scams and all that I think I text they guys at the store like 10 times and Ryan was always super friendly and polite and happy to answer all of my questions. This breed's laid-back nature does not mean they're devoid of fun and play. On the contrary, French Bulldogs can be quite playful and are known for their often comical and entertaining antics, which only further endears them to their owners. Their affectionate demeanor, combined with a remarkably low barking tendency, makes them a joy to have around the house.
French Bulldogs are sturdy, compact, and stocky, with a powerful muscular build that contradicts their small size. Their facial expressions are human-like, and they're known to "talk" using a complex system of yawns, yips, and gargles.
However, owning a French Bulldog does come with responsibilities. Their brachycephalic (short-nosed) nature makes them prone to certain health issues and less tolerant of extreme temperatures. Despite their muscular appearance, they are not the best swimmers, and care should be taken around bodies of water.
