We have been so excited to get a Frenchie and our dream came true. Premier pups was more than helpful as we went through the process of purchasing our baby and having him flown. When he came home he had gotten sick and a lady from premier pups gave me her cell number and texted me all day helping me to make sure he was eating and what to do. Their small size, typically weighing under 28 pounds, makes them perfectly suited to compact urban spaces. This breed's laid-back nature does not mean they're devoid of fun and play. On the contrary, French Bulldogs can be quite playful and are known for their often comical and entertaining antics, which only further endears them to their owners. Their affectionate demeanor, combined with a remarkably low barking tendency, makes them a joy to have around the house.
French Bulldogs are sturdy, compact, and stocky, with a powerful muscular build that contradicts their small size. They have a smooth coat that comes in a variety of colors, from fawn and brindle to white and grey. Their facial expressions are human-like, and they're known to "talk" using a complex system of yawns, yips, and gargles.
However, owning a French Bulldog does come with responsibilities. Their brachycephalic (short-nosed) nature makes them prone to certain health issues and less tolerant of extreme temperatures. Despite their muscular appearance, they are not the best swimmers, and care should be taken around bodies of water.
