Special Nurturing Notice
Puppies less than 2 lbs require the special care and attention the first 2 weeks in their new home. They need to eat every 2-3 hours, starting with their arrival.
Named after the region of Pomerania in Germany, also commonly known as the Pom or Pom Pom was first recognized as a descendent of the Wolfspitz breed. They originally were larger and were used as sheep herders. It became a popular breed in England in the 1800 year, when Queen Victoria adopted one. Its size has reduced and the fur grew more, it became a small puppy with a smiling foxy look, a real toy dog. This puppy was first recognized by the AKC in 1888 and it was perceived as a watchdog, with agility and performing tricks. It has since become one of the most sought after breeds here in the United States.
Appearance and Grooming
They are small, toy-sized dog with wedge-shaped head, almond-shaped dark eyes and tiny and raised ears, sharp pot and long tail carried on the back. The short muzzle is straight and fine. The color of the nose varies with coat color. The coat is longer around the neck and chest area. It can have a variety of coat colors and patterns including red, orange, white, cream, blue, brown, black, black and tan, wolf sable, brindle and white with different colors. With a cottony undercoat regular daily brushing is important to minimize the amount of shedding and tangles.
This is a very intelligent dog that has an eagerness to learn and shows strong loyalty to its owner and family. It has a docile and affectionate temperament and yet will be playful and energetic when enticed. It shows off its bravery often with strangers, as it will bark at them excessively.
Family and Companionship
They are highly extroverted dogs and love being in the midst of new people and try to make friends with everyone they meet. They do extremely well with children and other pets as they are highly sociable animals. They are also very protective of their owners and they respond very well to training and mental exercises. Due to their size, they prefer being inside than outside. They are well-suited for a large home or apartment life and crave human companionship more than anything else.
Routine exercise is necessary for the health and wellness of these high energy level pooches. Daily walks and frequent play will keep you puppy occupied and fit. Don’t be afraid of long walks with this one as their strong levels of endurance can carry them up to 5 miles and sometimes even more.
Training and Socialization
Known to become aggressive if not properly trained, these dogs need a firm yet gentle trainer. Though quick learners who are good at learning tricks, primary focus should be on obedience and barking as these tiny pups tend to see themselves as the boss and become incessant barkers. Socialization is equally as important as their extroverted and inquisitive nature must be met in effort to keep your pup happy and well mannered.

Thank you Premier pups!!! I have been looking for a teacup Pomeranian since November. I looked everywhere, and they were all either 3,000 dollars or a scam. Then my aunt told me she got Her teacup Pomeranian on here and I got her she looks just like she did in the picture. I am so happy with my new teacup Pomeranian puppy. I got her three days ago and she seems to be healthy and happy. She has been jumping around like a rabbit and sleeping alot. She is so cute and everybody in the family loves her . Me and my mom are even thinking about getting an another one!!!
My Wife always wanted a small breed puppy but the selection around Arizona was limited or the price was ridiculously expensive. A Pomeranian or a Yorkshire Terrier in the Arrowhead Mall Pet Shop was $5K or more! So we decided to research online for a reputable site and Premier Pups climbed to the top of our list. There is nothing ambiguous about their standard of procedure or policies. Everything we needed to know is on the website or sent to us via email or answered directly by their excellent customer service team. Our Teacup Pomeranian came with all of his medical papers needed for the vet, short term medication, and some baby food to help supplement his diet. Thank you to all the staff of Premier Pups. Thank you to the wonderful breeders. Thank you to everyone for blessing us with our little angel(sometimes angel). You can 100% trust this site for all of your puppy needs. May your journey start with Premier Pups and end with a little blessing of your own.
We decided to get a puppy and started searching for a Pomeranian, we couldn’t find one locally so we started to search online! When my boyfriend saw Baby (previously Fluffy), he right away said she is the one! She arrived 5 days later. She is the most precious little girl ever! We absolutely love her.. Thank you premier pups for our little girl:)
He was a very energetic and friendly puppy. Couldn’t ask for a better one. Picked him up at the airport with a nanny.
I bought my puppy pomerainian last year, I think he arrived about 3-4 days later, when I first met my little buddy, he was the smallest little creature I've ever seen filled with so much energy. I followed the instructions that Premierpups gave me, and long story short, thanks to this site, I'm the happiest guy ever. About one or two weeks in, I finally gave my puppy a name, Tommy. I celebrated his first birthday, with a party, and he will also be 1 year since I got him in two weeks. His my baby, my everything, he has brought me happiness in my life as you cannot imagine. If you decide to buy a pomerianian, things you should know about them, they are not for kids, because the dog may get hurt, and poms are so obbessed with thier owners, I do not mine that part but its something you should know. They will love you no matter what, remember dogs are a big responsibility and not a toy. After 6months he stopped growing, so yes they stay small, he is 1year and a month old, with 5lbs. And yes they are adorable! Here's a recent photo of him, with his little dirty paws, he loves the garden.
We have had Cleo for 1 week! We love her so much! She is very active and loved to play with water botttles.. Ha! My daughter sufferes from ainxiety and the dr suggest we get a small dog or cat to help her.. So, she decided (after seeing her friend with her Pomeranian) that she wanted a Pomeranian! I waited a while but, finally decided it was time.. While shopping at an Apple Store I saw a man with an adorable poodle! He told me where he got her. I couldn't wait to get home and google Premier Pups! I was so happy to see all the great reviews! Then, I saw Lacie/ Cleo! I knew that was the one for my daughter! When I showed my daughter the picture and told her I had bought the puppy she cried. She stayed out of school to go with me to the airport to pick her up. Again, she saw Lacie/ Cleo and cried. We are so in love with this baby! Thank you!

Bubbles joined our crazy crew of dogs a little over a year ago. From day one she was spunky, confident, and extremely loving. I can’t imagine life before her. Premier Pups were amazing and very supportive in her first few weeks of transition, making sure our tiny one pound pup had everything she needed. I highly recommend! Thank you for matching us with our new furever friend ??
