The Toy Poodle is a very intelligent and loyal breed of water dogs. Said to originate from Germany, the real history of this dog breed is unknown as it has been connected to the barbet dogs in France in the past. Poodles adapt to new environments easily, are very loyal, loving and can be protective of their owners. However, they do not make great watchdogs as they aren’t prone to aggressive behavior; but they can step up and protect their owners when they feel threatened. They socialize pretty well with kids and other pets and shed very little (doesn’t trigger allergies) all year round. They are also very sensitive to their environment and are therefore not recommended for homes with high or even medium levels of tension. Olivia joined our little family on August 29th,2017 at 9 weeks old! She was a surprise wedding gift from my husband, and we could not love this little pup anymore!!
