Like the Miniature Bernedoodle, the toy variety typically falls between the height and weight of its parents. This means that for an adult toy Bernedoodle, the height is between 12 and 22 inches with a weight of 20 to 30 pounds or less. Toy Bernedoodles are as adorable as dogs can get. The F1b is called a first-generation backcross and it’s a 25-70 mix of a Bernese Mountain dog and a Mini Poodle (75% Poodle – 25% Bernese Mountain Dog). And then there is the F2 which is a second-generation mix and is most often considered a 50-50 of the two breeds, except it is a mix between two Mini Bernedoodles.
Between the three generations, the F1 is the regular – mini size, the F1b is often considered the toy size, and the F2 (which is rare) can be the same as the mini or most commonly, smaller than the toy.

When Do Mini Bernedoodles Stop Growing?
Mini Bernedoodles, like most small dogs, can reach their adult weight as soon as 8 months of age, but because they are a mixed breed, this isn't an exact science either. Some mini Bernedoodles are fully grown at 8 to 10 months, while others may continue growing until they reach 12 to 14 months of age.
