Doodles are fantastic companion pets. They are our inspiration, joy, and love. They are the fashion craze of the 21st century, our best friends, and famous Instagram stars. They are adventurers, cuddle buddies, healers, and wonderful playmates for children.  

Before we get into how Doodles make our lives bliss, let’s take a look at what makes up a Doodle dog. 
Doodles are designer mixed breeds of purebred (Standard, Miniature, or Toy) Poodles and a different purebred dog breed. This means that Doodle dogs will always have Poodle in their genes.  
Mixing two highly popular dog breeds like the Golden Retriever and the Poodle (Goldendoodle), or the Maltese and the Poodle (Maltipoo), will always result in an amazing pup that will inherit all of those wonderful parent breed traits beautifully wrapped in a unique package. The same goes for every Doodle breed.  

Doodles come in all shapes and sizes. There are currently over 35 Doodle Breeds in the world, each and every one of them heart-melting adorable.

Doodles are amazing therapy dogs.

Dogs have been used in therapy and emotional support for centuries. Some beliefs date as far back as the first centuries B.C where it was widely believed that dogs had extraordinary healing powers. Even today, many dogs are considered to be healers, and among them are our amazing Doodles.  

Doodles are excellent candidates for therapy work. They are easy to train, highly intelligent, receptive to human emotion, empathic, and attentive. They have a calm demeanor, a cheerful disposition, and a gentle nature. They are uniquely equipped to provide relief from stress and anxiety, comfort, and calm.  

Whether you feel down or simply out of it, you can rely on your doodle to lift your spirit and cheer you up. You can count on your Doodle to increase your endorphin levels even on the rainiest of days. Their joyful nature will have you on your feet and dancing in no time.  

Doodles are hypoallergenic dogs.

Pet allergies are a common problem around the world. In the United States alone, over 10% of the population suffers from pet-related allergies. As common as they are, pet allergies shouldn’t be a barrier that keeps dog lovers from owning a pet. In fact, several breeds are considered hypoallergenic and are well suited for people suffering from allergies. Doodles are among those breeds. Thanks to the Poodle’s curly non-shedding coat, all Doodle Breeds are considered hypoallergenic.  

It is important to note that no breed is 100% hypoallergenic. The term hypoallergenic refers to dogs that don’t shed or shed very little, don’t produce as much dander, and are allergy-friendly pets.  

If you have pet-related allergies and are worried that you’ll have a sneeze party every time you cuddle your pup, then you should consider a Doodle. Doodles are low to non-shedding, allergy-friendly dogs.  

Doodles live long healthy lives.  

Did you know that purebred dogs inherit a number of ailments and are generally prone to the same health problems as their parents? Studies show that designer hybrids that are a mixed breed between two purebred dogs are not prone to the same ailments as their parent breeds but in fact, develop hybrid vigor.  

Hybrid vigor is achieved when a new gene pool is added to the mix. In this case, Doodle Breeds, which are mixed breeds between a purebred Poodle and a different purebred dog, all have hybrid vigor.  

They are blessed with longer healthier lives and are not likely to inherit any health problems their parents are prone to.

Doodles are fun-loving, joyful, and friendly dogs that are always eager to play and make friends. They are natural-born entertainers, comedians, stunt artists, and performers. They are explorers with a high sense of adventure, and conquerors of hearts. Since they take their first paw steps into the world, they are bouncy, happy, and playful. They love canine games like fetch, tag, chase, and Frisbee, and they excel at canine sports. They love to cuddle, show affection, and they stick to you like glue.
