As owner you have to carefully clean its ears, and the area around the eyes as they become easily dirty and you should pay attention to its dental hygiene in order to prevent tooth loss. It is recommended to offer it only dry food that helps it to maintain healthy teeth. The quantity of food should be carefully measured so as to prevent obesity. Two meals a day combined with exercises, walking and playing sessions will keep your Cavachon pup fit.
Generally, it has a good health, without issues. If it has a good health family history it won’t have health problems. If the family health was not very good, it is prone to heart diseases, hip dysplasia, eye or ear problems inherited from Cavalier Spaniel or epilepsy or flea bite allergies inherited from Bichon Frise.
