With its gorgeous hypoallergenic coat of its Miniature Poodle parent and the active nature of the Australian Shepherd, the Mini Aussiedoodle is definitely ranked as one of the most popular puppy breeds. Though, the true history the Mini Aussiedoodle remains unclear, it is certain that with the gain of designer dogs over the last several decades that this stunning dog was first bred somewhere in the 1990’s. With its playful and social demeanor, these dogs require lots of love and attention and crave companionship.

Appearance and Grooming

With ears that hang down, small black almond shaped eyes, and a medium sized muzzle of that of the Australian Shepherd and its straight to curly, soft and silky coat like that of the Poodle, makes this puppy the perfect mix of both parent breeds. Their coats include the colors white, blue, black, yellow, brown, red, silver and gray. Brushing of their fur 2 to 3 times a week is recommended as well as regular trips to the groomer to keep their coats clean and their nails trimmed.

Protective but not aggressive, these dogs can be quite easy going and surprisingly attentive. They are often very in tune with their owner’s attitudes and emotions and will react accordingly. This breed is as playful and active as it is cuddly and calm. Known for their tendencies to become bored quickly, you can curb this with proper amounts of toys and playtime.

Family and Companionship

A perfect companion this loyal and loving dog will make for an excellent addition to the family. With strong traits of adaptability and affection your new puppy will surely get along well with children and other pets. Because of their friendly nature, it is not a good idea to bring one of these into your home as a watchdog, but rather a member of the family.

With its strong desire to play and heightened curiosity your new companion will need exercise throughout the day and the opportunity to run and show off their agility talents. A recommended two walks a day with some backyard playtime should be plenty to keep them healthy and happy. Because of their curious nature and need to socialize make sure to keep an eye and leash on your puppy at all times when in social areas and gatherings.

Training and Socialization

Considered to be an extremely bright dog that is eager-to-please, they listen and obey well to commands making training a fairly easy task. Practicing patience with positive reinforcement and a rewards-based approach to training will surely reward you with a long, happy, and healthy relationship with your pooch. As with training, early socialization is recommended as it will help your sociable pups personality to shine.

Loving, courageous, energetic, gentle, intelligent, loyal, outgoing, protective, quiet and social.

Here is our clan that we have assembled since summer 2019. Calvin and Bennett the Cavapoos and Jimmy the Mini Aussiedoodle. All of their personalities are wonderful and unique. We can’t imagine life without these sweet boys. The Cavapoo’s have a significantly lower energy level than the Aussie. The Aussie is incredibly determined in everything he does. This can work to your benefit or against you. We find that we have to exercise the Aussie about an extra 30-60mins per day than the other two. I would say if you are trying to pick between the breeds just make sure you go with one that matches your energy level and lifestyle. You truly can’t go wrong with premier pups. I can’t imagine a company doing it any better they do with their customer service. A dog is a serious investment of time, energy and attention. Just make sure to read up and know what you are signing up for!

We got Brodie almost a month ago (originally named Aladdin). He is the sweetest, most playful and loving puppy we could have asked for. We have both had amazing experiences with dogs in the past, so he had big shoes to fill. He not only met our expectation, but exceeded all possible expectations we had. He has been awesome since the day we got him and we have referred to friends and family. We have hundreds of additional pictures if needed and we are pretty sure he is enjoying life with us as well. Almost potty trained and REALLY smart, also an exceptional eater. Just an overall great addition to the family!

My family recently purchased a puppy through Premier Pups and we had a wonderful experience! Staff called to check in before our pick up date, make sure we didn't have questions, and were very attentive. When we arrived at the facility to pick up our pup, the grounds were immaculate. Matthew greeted us, went over all the details of care for our pup thoroughly, and helped ensure our first meeting was as wonderful as we had hoped! Our little girl was just waking up from a nap and a bit shy, so he brought out her brother to help her warm up. They were adorable together, and she ran off some energy before our drive home. The first few days home with our pup, we received several phone calls/texts checking in to make sure everything was going well in our puppy's adjustment. I felt very supported as we navigated making her transition as easy as possible. Our puppy is energetic, curious, and loves to play! We are absolutely thrilled with her, and couldn't be happier with our experience through Premier Pups! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new furbaby. You will not be disappointed!

I absolutely love my puppy! My boyfriend and I drove up to Ohio to pick him up in February and I couldn’t be more happy with him. In the beginning we struggled with common puppy issues such as biting, chewing, and potty training. 3 months later and we don’t have an issue with any of those things. Nellie is healthy, friendly, someone I can cuddle with, but also someone who’d be willing to go exercise with me. Nellie is also crate trained but as of two days ago, he started sleeping in my room without it and is doing great! Thank you Premier Pups!

Breed: Mini Aussiedoodle

Loc: Grove City, Ohio

Oscar is the cutest little guy! In this picture, he is 2 months old and just precious, it was taken the day I got him!. He is the 2nd puppy I have gotten from Premier Pups! My 1st is Brady, a Teddy Bear that is now 2 years old. I also have a rescue dog, Bruno - he is a mix between Yorkshire Terrier and Bichon. It's amazing how well Oscar adjusted to his new home! Within couple weeks, the little guy mastered the deck steps, going in/out the doggie door as well as bed steps. He was 1lb, 15oz when I got him and now, at 15 weeks old, he's 3lbs, 5oz. Thanks to all the staff at Premier Pups for taking awesome care of the little pups and being so caring by checking on the pups to ensure they have adjusted to their new homes!

I had the most amazing experience with every single person I spoke with through premier pets. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and with care for all of my concerns. Our sweet girl took a flight to PA, which I was nervous about but premier pets assured me (multiple times) that she was in good hands and would be safe and explained that the flight would be a better option then driving almost 7 hours to pick her up. We love our little Koda. She has brought so much joy to our family. I truly don’t think we could’ve found a better fit for us. She is perfect in every way! Thank you premier pets! I’ve been telling all of my friends about you!
