About the Breed
Originating in Germany, the Poodle is one of the most popular dog breeds in the world. This lovely breed has three AKC registered sizes - Toy, Miniature, and Standard Poodle puppies. Also known as Pudelin, Water dog, and Canische in some places, this adorable, curly dog breed is renowned worldwide.
The Toy Poodle became part of English history during the 18th century as a miniature to its counterpart the Standard Poodle. These charming and naturally hypoallergenic pooches were created by breeding a petite-sized Poodle with the smallest of the small puppies from new litters. Toy Poodles may be small in size, but they are proud animals. They have a graceful posture and lots of love to give.
Appearance and Grooming
With dark oval eyes, ears that hang close to their heads, and long straight muzzles these tiny pooches are well-proportioned. Though the coat of a poodle does not shed, they do keep growing throughout a dog’s lifetime and therefore will need regular grooming every six to eight every week along with daily brushing to minimize tangles and knots. Though you never know what color your furry friend will be based on the litter, you can be guaranteed a mix of gorgeous colors including apricot, black, blue, brown, cream, gray, red, silver, silver beige and white.
These sweet and cheerful pooches, though shy at first, love to be around people. It is uncommon for these dogs to exhibit aggressive or protective behaviors, however, if not properly trained or socialized at an early age they may become vocal and anxious. They are sure to adapt well to their new environments and into their owners' hearts quickly.
Family and Companionship
In general, due to their kind and gentle nature, Mini and Toy Poodle puppies are great family dogs. They are protective and loving when it comes to their family. However, due to their tiny frame, Toy Poodles are not the best Poodle for children, since they are small and fragile. These companion dogs adapt quickly to their environment and do well in large family homes or in small apartment settings.
Though they are small, Miniature poodles and Toy Poodles are active dogs that require a daily walk and indoor play. Dogs that do not get to go on daily walks are more likely to display behavior problems. If you have a fenced-in area in your yard this is the perfect place for them to romp around, but don’t mistake this as a substitute for walking as their primal instincts still require such.
Training and Socialization
These toy-size pups are highly intelligent and highly responsive making them one of the most trainable breeds. With patience and practice, these dogs will become well-trained and well-behaved dogs. Plenty of socialization is vital to the Toy Poodle puppy starting at a young age as it fills them with the confidence they need around people and other pets.
Our Mini and Toy Poodle puppies for sale receive a start in early socialization. Our Puppy Agents and Poodle breeders interact with the puppies daily to ensure their transition to your home is smooth. The puppies and their parents also go through regular genetics health tests to ensure they are healthy and happy. Our reputable breeders are held to the highest standards.

My experience with Premier Pups was excellent. They were quick to send photos, videos and any info I needed before adoption. After, the delivery process went very smoothly. And I appreciated all the info on the puppy's care, and the follow up calls, since it had been a few years for me. All the records I needed were easily accessible. The staff just couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Premier Pups made the process so easy. They were super attentive and always offered great guidance to us as first time pup parents! Thank you Premier Pups for giving us our Charlie! We love him to pieces!
My husband and I had an awesome experience, from start to finish. We were a little hesitant about purchasing a puppy site unseen in person, but we couldn't be happier and are so in love with our puppy. Cjay is a miniature red poodle that has a wonderful personality, health and happy. Premier Pups answered any questions that we had about the process and provided all information we needed to help us make our decision. The staff was so friendly and patient which made us at ease in the purchase. Premiere Pups takes great pride and care of their dogs before releasing. After we received our puppy, Premiere pups made sure to keep in contact to check on our puppy, which we really appreciated. Unlike most companies that would drop you after payment. We recommend you to friends that are considering a new puppy. Thank you Premier Pups
Our experience with Premiere Pups has been wonderful. Our Penny was super tiny (1 pound 8 ounces) so she couldn’t come home right away. The staff took extra care of her until she was truly ready for us by helping her with feedings, socializing, etc. When we met her, we couldn’t believe how tiny she was and understood why the staff was so careful with her. The staff was incredibly helpful in speaking with us about her travel, providing clear feeding instructions, etc. I’m really impressed and have shared the company site with so many people that I know. Penny is social, lovable, and such an amazing little one. We can’t imagine our lives without her now. Thank you for everything!
Olivia was born 7/20/2019 and she is my world! She is the most adorable, sweetest, smartest and loving poodle. Her coat and color are beautiful and she naturally has great understanding and I did not have to pay for any training. Thanks again Premier Pups for providing me with such an exceptional experience! My baby is the love of my life! ♥️
Today is sugarbabys first birthday. We couldn't be more happy . She is 4lbs 8ounces purse size. When we took her to the vet the first time the vet said she was well bred. Please socialize early. Familiarize her or him to teeth brushing nail cutting brushing as soon as they come home. She will let you groom her. I wee wee pad trained her in a pen poodles are smart she caught own quickly. I would do it all again Premier answered questions and stuck by my side Thank you again Premier. Safe place dont hesitate
I'm forever thankful that Premier Pups helped me get my toy poodle puppy! Stella (listed as Mindy) is very smart, affectionate, and full of energy! Premier Pups provided a premier experience for me and my premier pup. They answered all of my questions and helped guide me throughout the entire process. The care they provide for the puppies combined with their exceptional customer service is why I would recommend anyone looking for a puppy to get one from Premier Pups!
Bambi is our 2nd puppy from Premier. We have a beautiful Maltese, Bean, as well. Our experience from texting, purchase, and pick-up was perfect. She’s healthy, loves to play, she’s exactly what we needed as a playmate for Bean. The customer service with Premier is exceptional. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Hot Girl Phoebe
Hot Girl Phoebe was our second purchase from PremierPups. Phoebe was a Toy Poodle and weighed only 2lbs at 16 weeks old. Phoebe was the most perfectest pup and was fully potty trained at 11 weeks and did well sleeping thru the night. Super playful, energetic, and loving she was. Unfortunately she got ahold of rat poison while at my homegirl’s house. The poison contained ‘Bromethalin’ which unlike other rodenticides has no antidote and it attacks the neurological system. She didn’t make it at the emergency vet and we miss her everyday. She was very feisty relative to her size and fit right along in this loud ethnic opinionated Afro-Dominican household. I recommend Premierpups to everyone they’re great and helped me select another Toy Poodle at a very good discounted rate who we’re getting this July. My experience with them has been real good and the services they offer are like no other you’d get with any ole breeder. Also GET PETPLAN INSURANCE. At first, I was like umm nahh this ain’t it I barely drive w/ insurance so why would i need insurance on a dog?? But It saved us money and reimbursed us for almost all of what we spent. The insurance checks were real fat, I was able to do some retail therapy to cope with my loss and I highly recommend purrr ??! All in all its giving peaches and cream and apple sauce. We just mourned the loss of our beloved Afro-Latina Princess Hot Girl Phoebe with a service and a proper burial in a pink satin casket and are ready to move forward with our people at PremierPups. Thanks again you guys!??
Meadow, now knows as Mocha is absolutely adorable! She was shy at first and now loves to be around everyone and running around everywhere. Premiere pups has been in touch and making sure she’s okay at all times. I cannot wait to adopt another fur baby from premier pup!??
